3rd Annual Fishing Derby Fundraiser Results

February 24, 2012 - The Third Annual EQUALL Fishing Derby was held Saturday February 18th. The weather cooperated and the sun even came out making this year's event our most successful yet. We raised over $2300 for therapeutic riding.
  1. Roy Lockwood took home $1000
  2. Tom Allen took home $500
  3. Gary Jaynes took home $300
  4. Ken Bowers won the Early Bird Prize of $200

Students are Horsin' Around at NHHS

March 9, 2011 - The students of the Practical Learning Program at North Hastings High School got their first glimpse of barn life as part of a pilot program called “Experiencing the Power of Learning with Horses”. This program has been funded by grants from the Hastings and Prince Edward Learning Foundation and Student Success, with transportation provided by Bancroft Community Transit.
